*was written by *written by Kropp It was published by National Library of Cananda in 2003 My opinion of this book is that it was great suspensful and thriller story because two young guys Sam and Connor were enemies but when blizzard strike them to work together to survive the frozen Arctic It was a fiction book so the setting was in the Arctic and coffee shop The main characters were Sam Connor and Annie The story begin with Sam in the middle of Arctic and trying to hunt caribou for the the middle of Arctic and trying to hunt caribou for the time The conflict was Sam and Connor they both ike the same girl her name was Annie I Silver Mortal (The Gracen Chronicles, liked how the conflict was resolved because the two of them were enemies and didn t want to help each other My favorite part of the story was when two of them work together I think the theme that the author is trying to get across to hisher readers is that whatever happened between enemies but they all become together at once because the story talks aot about how they work together This book reminds me of movie by the name of Houseful 2 it is similar because in the movie the two young guys were crush on a girl and they both Educating for the New World Order like her so they become enemies and one day the both saw each otherooking for food for their girls and they both apologize each other and begin to search for food together I gave this book 5 stars because it has interesting story in it I really recommend this book because it might help the readers to forgive their enemies or help other enemies to become together. ITSELF THE STORYLINE IS UICK ANDThe storyline is UICK AND PLOT ARCS ALMOST and the plot arcs almost with most of the focus being on the conflict and not much attention paid to rising action or resolution If I were reviewing this book as a high school novel I would have given it one star However since Kropp wrote this book intentionally for struggling and reluctant readers I think it has a ot of value and I may have even marked down too harshly This is a book that a 15 year old could pick up keep up with and finish in a week or so maybe two if they re a slow reader or not putting in much time each day There is nothing to get bogged down by in this book and it s easy to get caught up in the very typical high school suabbling and drama of Annie Sam and Connor s sudo ove triangle Now that I have read Blizzard I would be interested to check out the rest of the series so that I can recommend them to readers that would benefit from such simple yet interesting book. Luctant readers These books are research based and classroom tested Technical readability is controlled so there are no sudden jumps in vo.
